About the role
Responsibilities:
- Review drawings and ensure parts are made to specification
- Operate CNC Plasma Table
- Fabricate items as needed
- Operate forklift and overhead crane
- Coach and train lower-level fabricators on the proper execution of duties, ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure all safety procedures are always followed, including proper use of all PPEs
- Proficient in reading CAD 2D and 3D drawings
- Metal Working Experience
- Ability to professionally lead staff by example and handle light supervisory duties
- Experience with fabrication shop equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
