Junior Financial Analyst

Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team in the Houston/Clear Lake area. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop their financial analysis skills and grow within an established organization.

This position reports to the Director of Finance and will assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing business performance.

Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually

Location: Houston/Clear Lake, TX – Local candidates only

Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site during regular business hours. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Prepare reports and financial summaries to support management decisions.

• Track operational expenses, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Assist with developing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, financial models, and dashboards.

• Support financial analysis projects and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.

• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and develop professionally.

• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, or accounting software is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires full-time attendance in the office. Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about the office, lift up to 10 lbs., and work at a computer for extended periods.
