- Maintain sales tax exemption records and support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accounting records and documentation meet company standards for consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand business activity and ensure transactions are reflected accurately in the financial records.
- Monitor collections activity, cash reporting, and working capital trends and assist with issue resolution as needed.
- Support intercompany accounting processes and coordinate with Corporate Accounting and Shared Services teams.
- Assist with analysis of operational and financial results and provide accounting insight to support decision-making.
- Help ensure accounting implications of operational activities are properly recorded and documented.
- Follow and help maintain effective internal controls, including approvals, account reconciliations, documentation standards, and segregation of duties.
- Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities to improve accounting accuracy and consistency
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recurring accounting processes, and close-related responsibilities.
- Support ERP enhancements, process automation initiatives, and system improvement projects as assigned.
