We are actively hiring a UI/UX Designer with TS/SCI w/ Poly to join our team working in Chantilly, VA. You will apply UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders, taking designs from user research through wireframes and prototypes to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
We are actively hiring a UI/UX Designer with TS/SCI w/ Poly to join our team working in Chantilly, VA. You will apply UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders, taking designs from user research through wireframes and prototypes to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes to inform design decisions.
- Develop a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the customer's digital assets.
- Design UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, and calls to action (CTAs) to improve the user experience.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and test designs to validate the user experience.
- Work with development teams, stakeholders, and customer representatives to make sure design requirements are met.
- Provide guidance on applying UX research methods and testing activities.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated professional experience with user research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure.
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to communicate design requirements to development teams.
- Experience with design systems and style guides to keep digital assets consistent.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
