As our Service Division continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Service Plumber to join our Columbia team. If you're a dependable, customer-focused plumber who enjoys solving problems and working independently, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Service Plumber, you'll perform service, repair, maintenance, and installation work for a wide range of commercial and industrial customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, and storm systems.
• Troubleshoot leaks, stoppages, fixture failures, water line issues, and drainage problems.
• Install, replace, and maintain piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, and plumbing equipment.
• Respond to scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing schematics.
• Accurately document service work, materials used, labor hours, and customer recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies, industry standards, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Build strong customer relationships through professionalism, communication, and quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with service coordinators and fellow technicians to ensure excellent service delivery.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Valid South Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, and outdoor job sites
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• South Carolina Journeyman or Master Plumbing License
• Backflow Certification
• Experience servicing healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, or commercial facilities
• Familiarity with digital work orders, mobile service software, and electronic reporting systems
• Additional industry certifications and specialized training
