Overview

We are seeking a collaborative and experienced professional to lead the internal development and deployment of special technical software integration, or other information based “products”, at NANO.  The first major deliverable is the deployment of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment while contributing to software quality assurance efforts and selected strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional setting, enjoys building scalable processes, and can partner effectively with engineering, QA, and external vendors to drive operational excellence.

This position plays an important role in strengthening system governance, improving operational consistency, and supporting high-quality software and PLM outcomes. The work combines technical coordination, process development, and strategic support, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of the business.

Responsibilities

PLM Product Manager (75% time)

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all PLM development efforts.
• Act as the main interface with external PLM subcontractors and coordinate priorities, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
• Provide back-end PLM development leadership as needed to support system enhancements and configuration changes.
• Develop and refine PLM policies and procedures in partnership with engineering and other business stakeholders.
• Partner closely with the PLM Lead/Specialist who manages day-to-day administration and operational support.

Software QA (20% time)

• Collaborate with the QA team to understand current processes, open questions, and improvement opportunities.

• Draft original QA policies and procedures to support consistency, compliance, and clarity.
• Review software and related deliverables to help ensure quality expectations are understood and met.
• Contribute subject matter expertise drawn from prior experience to help solve complex operational and technical challenges.
• Document Control Integration

·         Support special projects that may expand over time, including document control, accounting platform integration, third-party tool AI integration, and related cross-functional initiatives.

Special Projects (5% time, growing as other projects are completed)

• Accounting Platform Integration
• AI strategy development and tool integration

Qualifications

• Direct prior experience in enterprise software integration with relevant platforms (Ex: Siemens Team Center, Oracle P6, MS Dynamics, MS 365 & SharePoint, etc.)
• Ability to serve as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong process-building skills, with the ability to draft clear policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of software quality assurance concepts and collaborative QA practices.
• Comfort working across multiple priorities and adapting as business needs evolve.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to analyze current-state processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical operations, systems administration, QA, or engineering support role.
• Exposure to document control, platform integrations, or third-party software implementation.
• Experience working with subcontractors or managed service partners.
• Familiarity with policy development in regulated or process-driven environments.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced organization.
