Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team, with a primary focus on accounts receivable and maintaining accurate, up-to-date balances across all Social Care Networks (SCNs). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is looking for long-term career growth within a rapidly expanding company. The ideal candidate is adaptable, solutions-driven, and willing to take ownership of a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

We're growing fast, and our accounting processes are evolving right along with us — this role is where a lot of that shows up day to day. You'll report to the Staff Accountant and wear a lot of hats: reconciliations one hour, an accounts receivable balance discrepancy the next, then a fixed asset schedule or a process improvement idea before you clock out. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to and receive training in all areas of accounting — a great fit if you're looking to broaden your experience and build your skill set early in your career. Responsibilities

• Take primary ownership of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing support, cash application, and payment reconciliation.  Initially some clean up will be involved.

• Maintain and regularly update the system to reflect accurate, current balances across all customers

• Perform daily accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support

• Process accounts payable, including reviewing and coding vendor invoices, processing expense reports, and preparing payment runs

• Perform general accounting support tasks such as data entry, recordkeeping, and filing to keep financial documentation organized and audit-ready

• Ongoing (once cleaned) process and reconcile payments and customer receipts

• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules

• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals

• Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc accounting projects

• Identify process improvement opportunities and think creatively to solve problems

• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to support accounting operations

• Manage a busy, varied workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Support the evolving needs of a fast-growing organization and be willing to expand responsibilities as the company grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting 

• Familiarity with basic accounting functions in a corporate environment

• Microsoft Excel skills required (heavy Excel usage)

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing and dynamic environment

• Strong problem-solving skills with an "out-of-the-box" mindset

• Self-motivated, organized, and willing to take initiative

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under heavy workload conditions

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
