About the role

Help schools bring career exploration to life for students.

The Dream Opportunity is a global nonprofit helping students from underserved communities explore career pathways, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to opportunities they may not otherwise know exist.

We partner with leading global companies including JPMorgan Chase, Blackstone, AT&T, Warner Bros. Discovery, Verizon, Yahoo, Salesforce, EY, Informa, Paramount, Versace, and more to connect students with career exposure and professional development opportunities.

We are expanding our college and career exploration programming and are looking for a School Implementation & Education Specialist to work directly with students, educators, and partner schools.

About the Role

This is a highly school-facing and student-facing role for someone who enjoys working with young people, supporting educators, facilitating engaging sessions, and helping schools successfully implement educational technology and programming.

You'll work directly with partner schools to introduce students and educators to our college and career exploration platform, facilitate structured student sessions, observe how students engage with the experience, and help teachers and counselors confidently incorporate the platform into their programming.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in education, teaching, school programming, youth development, college and career readiness, EdTech implementation, training, or facilitation.

What You'll Do

  • Support the implementation of our college and career exploration platform at partner schools.
  • Facilitate engaging sessions with high school students.
  • Guide students through structured career and college exploration activities.
  • Help students navigate and use the platform successfully.
  • Train teachers, counselors, administrators, and other school staff on how to use the platform.
  • Help educators incorporate the platform into existing college and career readiness programming.
  • Observe student engagement and identify areas where students may become confused, disengaged, or need additional support.
  • Gather structured feedback from students and educators.
  • Communicate observations and implementation feedback to our product and education teams.
  • Support both in-person and virtual school programming.
  • Build positive relationships with students, teachers, counselors, and school administrators.
  • Help ensure every school receives a consistent, engaging, and high-quality experience.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience working with middle or high school students.
  • Are comfortable facilitating a classroom or group of students.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both students and adults.
  • Can build rapport quickly with young people.
  • Are comfortable learning and demonstrating technology.
  • Can explain technology in a simple, approachable way.
  • Are highly organized, dependable, responsive, and detail-oriented.
  • Can observe student behavior and provide thoughtful, actionable feedback.
  • Are comfortable adapting when classroom or school environments change unexpectedly.
  • Enjoy collaborating with teachers, counselors, administrators, and internal teams.
  • Are passionate about expanding access to college and career opportunities.

Experience in teaching, counseling, youth programming, college and career readiness, school implementation, EdTech, instructional technology, student success, or education program management is strongly preferred.
