About the role

Location: Presidio of Monterey, CA 

Clearance: Secret

Overview: Configures, sustains, and troubleshoots enterprise systems and hybrid cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.
  • Support Active Directory and authentication systems.
  • Patch, update, and secure system baselines.
  • Troubleshoot server and application performance.
  • Provide technical documentation and diagrams.

Core Competencies:

  • Hybrid datacenter/cloud engineering
  • OS and virtualization administration
  • Troubleshooting and optimization
  • Technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS with 5+ years OR AA/AS with 7+ years.
  • Certifications: IAT II.
  • Experience: 5+ years systems engineering.
  • Technical Screening:
    • Microsoft O365, Active Directory, DNS.
    • VMware NSX, Linux OS.
    • SQL Server, EMC SAN.
    • AWS/Azure administration.
