Our service department is adding a full-time auto mechanic. At Bemidji Chrysler Center, our Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealership in Bemidji, you will track down what is wrong, fix it properly, and get our customers back on the road.

Experience as a mechanic or technician, at a dealership or an independent shop, puts you ahead. If your background is hands-on mechanical work and you want to keep learning, we would still like to hear from you: we provide paid training and help you earn certifications.

A Day in the Shop

• Diagnose engine, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and electrical problems
• Complete repairs, scheduled maintenance, and multi-point inspections to factory and dealership standards
• Use scan tools, shop equipment, and manufacturer service information to find the cause
• Spot additional needs during inspections and pass them to the service advisors
• Document each repair order clearly: the concern, the cause, and the fix
• Road test vehicles to confirm repairs when needed
• Work with the service advisors, the parts department, and the other mechanics to keep work moving through the shop
• Keep your bay clean, organized, and safe

What You Bring

• Mechanic, automotive technician, or service technician experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the patience to find the real problem
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required; we will help you earn them
• Dealership experience helps but is not required
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic computer skills for repair orders and service lookups
• Reliable, on time, and organized when the shop gets busy
• Clear communication and a team-first attitude
