Are you a technology professional who enjoys solving problems and helping others succeed? Vermeer Midwest is seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This role serves as the primary onsite IT resource for our Goodfield location while supporting team members across multiple locations.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our technology systems remain secure, reliable, and effective. From troubleshooting technical issues to supporting Microsoft 365, cybersecurity initiatives, enterprise applications, and infrastructure projects, you'll help keep our business running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for employees across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving computers, printers, mobile devices, software, and business systems.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and support Windows workstations and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and account setup.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives and follow established security standards and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support activities.
• Participate in IT projects involving infrastructure, cloud technologies, and business applications.
• Train and assist users on technology best practices and new system deployments.
• Support enterprise applications including Salesforce, IntelliDealer, and other operational platforms.
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of communication and follow-up.
• Travel occasionally to other Central Illinois locations to provide onsite support and project assistance.

What You Bring

• Five (5)+ years of relevant IT experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, wireless networking, and VPN connectivity.
• Experience with cybersecurity technologies and security best practices.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
