Automotive Technician Apprentice

Vaden Automotive is growing and looking for an Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our high-volume service department. What You'll Do

• Assist senior technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs independently

• Test and inspect vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Remove and replace major components such as engines and transmissions under supervision

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, accounting for dealership-owned tools

• Follow company, safety, and environmental policies at all times

• Stay engaged in continuous training and development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Automotive repair or maintenance experience in a dealership or independent shop

• A strong interest in diagnostics, repair, and advancing technical skills

• Manufacturer or ASE certifications preferred any relevant industry certifications are considered a bonus and show a commitment to professional development

• Versatile skill set and willingness to take on varied tasks

• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending, stretching, standing, and climbing for extended periods

• Comfortable working with power tools and diagnostic equipment

• Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen

• Dealership experience: 1 year (required)

• Automotive repair experience: 1 year (required)
