Experienced Automotive Technician – GM Dealership with sign on Bonus

Riverton Elko Cheverlot’s Service Department is growing significantly and is looking for experienced auto technicians who can diagnose, do drivability and are great at replacing parts. We are a family owned and operated dealership and we take care of our technicians! We learned a long time ago that the secret to keeping a shop successful and keeping our customers coming back, are our techs! We REWARD where it is due and we don’t hold back! We have hourly and flat rate pay plans available. Our Flat rate Techs can make up to $50 per hour plus bonus with unlimited potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles following manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding repair needs and timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Stay current with technical training and industry developments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
• Experience as a vehicle service technician or mechanic
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
