  • Process full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR): generate customer invoices, post payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries for ownership review
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all transactions are posted accurately
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for all transactions
  • Coordinate with our external CPA for tax preparation, audits, and compliance needs
  • Track job costs and assist with project-level financial reporting as needed
  • Support payroll processing and related reporting in coordination with ownership

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online) – this is non-negotiable
  • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Strong working knowledge of bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting
  • High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in financial data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED (BONUS POINTS)

  • Experience in the home improvement, construction, or home services industry
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • QuickBooks certification or equivalent
