The Role

SoFi is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build the products and platforms that power our members' financial lives. In this role, you'll help define, prioritize, and deliver features and experiences that make it easier for our members to borrow, save, spend, invest, and protect their money. Your work will directly contribute to SoFi's mission of helping every member get their money right.

You will own key elements of your product area's strategy, working across engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, finance, risk, legal, and compliance to translate customer needs and business goals into a clear, iterative roadmap. You'll bridge technical and business worlds to deliver product enhancements that delight users and drive meaningful outcomes.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be expected to set ambitious goals, sweat the details, be gritty, and be accountable to results. The specific team and product area will be scoped during the hiring process based on business needs and your background.

What you'll do

• Define and execute on a product vision and multi-year roadmap for your product area.

• Prioritize and drive backlogs for launch with your dedicated engineering teams, writing detailed requirements and partnering closely with developers.

• Own instrumentation, data, and analysis for your products to drive deep understanding, innovation, and product plans.

• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across design, engineering, marketing, operations, legal, compliance, risk, and executive leadership to translate customer needs into shipped product.

• Lead experiments and hypothesis-driven work to validate ideas and measure impact on key business and member outcomes.

• Operate in a fast-paced agile environment, making trade-offs and decisions to deliver iteratively while driving toward long-term goals.

• Champion customer needs with deep empathy for member pain-points and financial goals and be a champion of SoFi's values.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a technical, finance, or quantitative field.

• 5+ years of product management experience.

• Experience owning end-to-end product delivery, from discovery through launch and iteration.

• Superior communication skills, written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; comfortable diving into product, business, and operational metrics.

• Ability to work closely with engineering to own and dive deep into backlogs, definition of done, and technical details.

• High bias for action and ownership; comfortable operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.

• Passion for your users. You do right by them, always.

Nice to have

• Experience in the fintech space or with regulated consumer products.

• Experience with hypothesis-based product experimentation and A/B testing at scale.

• Experience speaking directly with users, gathering insights, and translating those insights into meaningful product enhancements.

• Experience working with remote and distributed teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
