About the Job

We are partnered with a premium entertainment technology company on the search for its next Senior Vice President of Technology and Engineering. This is a senior executive role reporting directly to the CEO, with broad responsibility for Technology, Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management, Installation, and Customer Service.

The company designs and delivers proprietary immersive experience technology into venues operated by major U.S. entertainment partners. This leader owns the full technical lifecycle of that relationship: from the moment the Business Development team closes a deal and the partner hands over the space, through parts delivery, logistics, technology integration, video and projection, and proprietary platform systems, to final installation and ongoing customer support.

This is a hands-on engineering leader as much as an executive. The SVP brings deep technical depth across video, hardware, software, and networking, plus the layer above it: purchasing, project management, installation, and customer service.

They are seeking a hands-on technical leader: someone who can go deep on video and projection systems, hardware, software, and networking, while also building and leading the broader organization—purchasing, project management, installation, and customer service—that turns a signed deal into a fully operating venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with partner venues from deal close through site delivery, ensuring all parts, logistics, and technology are delivered on time
• Provide expert-level direction on video and projection, including video distribution, show control, and network infrastructure
• Provide expert-level direction on hardware, software, and networking solutions, including proprietary platform-specific systems
• Own engineering documentation, including Facility Impact, Bills of Material, rack elevations, single lines, network topology, and O&M manuals
• Oversee testing, validation, and certification plans, including setup and configuration during Factory Acceptance Testing
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technology to improve performance and scalability, owning the broader technology roadmap
• Serve as the subject matter authority on video, control, and proprietary systems, standards, and specifications, both internally and with clients
• Provide technical field leadership for deployment teams on issue resolution and system optimization
• Build and scale the engineering team, mentoring junior engineers and setting engineering best practices
• Oversee the Purchasing, Project Management, Installation, and Customer Service functions supporting every deployment
• Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure parts and systems are delivered reliably and on schedule
• Serve as a senior leader reporting to the CEO, with accountability for the technical and operational success of every site deployment

Ideal Profile

• Significant leadership experience in technology and engineering, ideally within AV, entertainment technology, themed or location-based entertainment, cinema, or a related hardware-driven industry
• Deep technical expertise across video and projection systems, hardware, software, and networking
• Experience with supply chain and manufacturing operations
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, purchasing, project management, installation, and customer service
• Experience building and scaling a technical organization, including mentoring and developing engineers
• Strong communicator, comfortable serving as the technical authority with both internal teams and external clients
• Executive presence, with the ability to operate as both a hands-on technical leader and a strategic partner to the CEO

Base salary: Up to $350,000
Bonus: Performance-based, aligned with level and experience
