Job Title: Solution Engineer / Solution Architect 

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Solution Engineer with a strong background in the IT or Telecom industry. In this role, you will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical architecture teams, assessing requests, defining conceptual solutions, and driving the end-to-end evaluation process for strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly engage with business teams to discuss, clarify, and analyze assessment requests.

• Participate in Value Stream meetings and events to provide dedicated solution support and technical guidance.

• Collaborate with Architecture and Solution Architecture teams to thoroughly assess all domain impacts.

• Create, define, and document conceptual technical solutions based on input from technical teams.

• Validate conceptual solutions with business teams to ensure technical deliverables align with business requirements, and review assessment outputs with requestors.

• Develop accurate estimates regarding cost, timeline, and effort required for proposed initiatives.

• Validate solutions with the delivery team and facilitate a seamless handoff for implementation, supporting clarification requests as needed.

• Produce comprehensive assessment response documentation ensuring strict adherence to enterprise and corporate standards.

• Lead project assessment reviews to secure necessary stakeholder and leadership approvals.

• Handle any other duties required to support ongoing business planning and strategic efforts.

Qualifications & Skill Set

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Ideal candidates will possess professional background and experience within the Telecommunications industry.

• Proven experience operating as a Solution Engineer, Solution Architect, or in a similar technical assessment/consulting capacity.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft tools (MS Office, MS Project, Visio, etc.) for documentation, modeling, and project tracking.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge complex technical concepts and business requirements.
