About the Role

We're hiring a NetSuite Functional Lead in New York to own NetSuite configuration and design as Nscale's finance processes scale globally. You'll be the NetSuite subject matter expert, partnering with finance process owners and reporting to the Director, Finance Tech.

You'll decide how best to meet Finance's needs through configuration, customization, or process change, and advise when another system is a better fit. Your work will help Finance close and report in NetSuite, adopt new entities and modules, and document access for audit.

What you'll be doing

Configure and design NetSuite

• Configure NetSuite's chart of accounts, subsidiaries, revenue recognition, and fixed assets. Own transaction flows from sales to cash collection and through financial close and reporting.
• Decide whether each requirement calls for configuration, customisation, or a change to the process.
• Work with engineering on solution design for customisations.

Deliver change and support decisions

• Gather requirements from Finance, own functional design, and lead the NetSuite side of new entity and module rollouts, including user training.
• Drive release management, including user acceptance testing, deployment, change control, and annual upgrades.
• Advise the Director, Finance Tech on NetSuite capability and where another system is a better fit.

Make the system usable and auditable

• Build and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, and SuiteAnalytics content.
• Own roles, permissions, provisioning, and access reviews, and produce evidence for audit.

About You

• You have NetSuite experience, in-house or in consulting, including delivering implementations end to end.
• You've administered a NetSuite instance after go-live, through close cycles and upgrades.
• You have experience with intercompany, multi-currency, consolidation, and revenue recognition in NetSuite.
• You can act as a thought partner to Finance on system design and explain the accounting impact of each option.
• You've managed competing requests from several finance teams.
• Experience using AI tools day to day to work faster is a plus.
• NetSuite certification is a plus, not a requirement.

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$150,000—$220,000 USD
