Position Summary

As an Associate Solutions Engineer, you primarily assist in all phases of the software and services sales process.  You will travel worldwide with our senior sales teams to meet potential and current customers.  In this role, you will work with multiple global sales teams, helping prepare responses to RFPs and RFIs, finding solutions to client technical issues, and presenting on-site product demonstrations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with various global sales teams to qualify accounts
• Have strong sales instincts and enjoy speaking with prospective clients in all stages of the sales cycle
• Participate in the development of product demonstrations, including specification, testing, and delivery
• Configure Netcracker product and demonstrate the advanced product concepts
• Assist the account team in ensuring customer satisfaction
• Travel to customer sites worldwide

Skills and Experience Required

• Comfortable speaking and presenting to large groups
• Previous sales or sales engineer experience
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Java, J2EE, TCP/IP, Unix, Windows 2000
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills in a matrix environment
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex political environments
• Excel at working under pressure with deadlines

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required (BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience). Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
