Our exceptional teams craft and deploy creative legal strategies that are meticulously tailored to every matter, however complex or high-stakes. The firm’s work is distinguished by a unique combination of precision and vision.

Based in any US office, the Project Manager, Technology Operations will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects across the firm's global Information Systems (IT) organization. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from scoping and planning through execution, testing, and rollout — for initiatives spanning infrastructure, cloud operations, networks, service delivery, and other technology operations functions. This role demands strong project management discipline, technical fluency across IT operations domains, and the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

This role reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead technology operations projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with stakeholders across Information Systems (IT).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, network, cloud operations, service desk, and security to deliver project outcomes.
  • Identify project risks and issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and deliver clear status reports, dashboards, and executive updates to IS leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, steering committees, and retrospectives.
  • Support Change Management activities, including documentation, communications, and training for affected teams and end users.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and go-live/cutover activities for infrastructure and operations changes.
  • Maintain project documentation, including charters, requirements, risk logs, and lessons-learned reports.
  • Partner with the IT Operations leaders to prioritize and sequence the technology operations project portfolio.
  • Track project budgets and forecasts, flagging variances and recommending corrective action.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with firm policies, security standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology operations teams, business stakeholders, and outside vendors.
  • Support other IS projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) and supporting tools.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management, with a focus on IT infrastructure or technology operations.
  • Prior experience in a professional service, legal, or other environment with stringent compliance requirements is a plus.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification preferred.
