Cloud Engineer - ACWS

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Cloud Engineer Summary: Responsible for architecting, operating, and transitioning secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, including hosting, storage, networking, access, and monitoring.

Required Skills: 

• Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or related field

• 5+ Years supporting cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, platform operations, or enterprise hosting.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar and Comp Tia Security+

• Experience architecting and securing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GovCloud), specializing in containerized orchestration (Kubernetes) and core infrastructure management across networking, storage, monitoring, and database workloads (including Appian, Java, and API integrations)

• Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications: 

• Experience with DoD IL5/IL6, cArmy, PIEE, RMF/ATO, or federal cloud environments.
• Experience supporting Appian, Java, API, or database workloads in cloud-hosted environments.

Responsibilities: 

• Configure, automate, sustain, and monitor ACWS cloud environments

• Support deployment readiness, security hardening, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, and restoration

• Maintain configuration and operating documentation

• Coordinate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, administrators, application teams, and hosting providers.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$160,000—$170,000 USD
