Graduate Quantitative Researcher (2027 Incoming Graduate, Full-Time)

3Red Partners LLC, a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, is seeking a Graduate Quantitative Researcher (2027 Incoming Graduate) to join the team. 3Red Partners is committed to leveraging technology and math to implement competitive trading strategies. The Graduate Quantitative Researcher will have the opportunity to work in our Chicago headquarters focusing on expanding and optimizing current and future trading opportunities. We are seeking a candidate that is looking for an opportunity to make a real impact, deliver value, and work within an experienced team.

Your impact:

• Work with the team to optimize the current strategy components and identify new trading opportunities
• Research and test alphas to improve existing tools and identify methods to increase trading efficiency  
• Focus on enhancing the production trading system and rewriting existing trades and signals

Your background & skills:

• A student completing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree with an emphasis in a STEM-related field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.), graduating in 2027 by August 2027
• 1+ industry internships as a Quantitative Researcher, Developer, or Trader
• Experience with Python, C++, and machine learning tools
• Strong multi-tasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time

The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $200,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
