Our Mission
We are dedicated to transforming the industry by reimagining silicon and developing next-generation computing platforms. By joining our team, you’ll collaborate with world-class engineers to create innovative solutions that push the limits of performance, energy efficiency and scalability with highest security assurance for all stakeholders
Position: SoC System Architect
We are seeking experienced SoC System Architects to join our team. If you possess an understanding of SoC hardware architecture and have a passion for architecting and designing complex System on Chips (SoCs) at advanced process nodes, we would be pleased to hear from you. This critical role involves architecting the next-generation datacenter system and hardware infrastructure for reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS), debug, telemetry, and server manageability by collaborating with other platform and SoC architects and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The work performed will lead to lower time to resolve issues and improve datacenter uptime by providing secure RAS, debug, and telemetry solutions that can be used in environments closer to, if not in, the production environments where the issues occur.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of system and SoC architecture for datacenter products including hardware, software, and system requirements for debug, RAS, telemetry, and server manageability technologies. Knowledge of the security and privacy implications and necessary requirements for such debug, RAS, telemetry, and manageability technologies is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for excelling in this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in designing hardware for datacenter environments.
- At least 2 years of experience in architecting and developing technologies for datacenter products with a proven track record in hyperscale datacenter solutions.
- Strong knowledge of datacenter architectures from edge computing to hyperscale.
- Knowledge of the datacenter product life cycle (including quarantined/out for repair states) and the different use cases and requirements associated with these different life cycle states.
- Proficiency in boot, reset, recovery, debug, RAS, telemetry, server manageability, and confidential computing concepts.
- Direct architecture/design experience with debug, telemetry, and RAS protocols (e.g., MIPI STP, DMTF PLDM).
- Familiarity with security technologies for datacenter products related to secure debug, attestation, hardware and software supply chain provenance, and access control/isolation primitives.
- Experience in participating (or leadership) in industry forums (e.g., OCP) and developing specifications.
- Strong technical documentation skills (including specification development) along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate independently in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop the SoC and system level architecture for datacenter products focused on debug, telemetry, RAS, and server management capabilities including run control, trace, crash dumping, error injection, invasive debug mechanisms, debugger authentication and elevation of privileges, and secure sessions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across hardware, firmware, software, validation, and product teams.
- Prepare and present clear and comprehensive technical documentation and reports tailored to the needs of stakeholders, including engineering teams, senior management and customers.
- Participate in relevant industry standards organizations and monitor debug, telemetry, RAS and manageability trends and emerging related technologies. Ensure that the SoC infrastructure complies with relevant regulatory standards and industry’s best practices.
