Build the Platform That Powers Engineering

Join Qualcomm's Platform Engineering infrastructure team and help build the cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, and automation that empower developers to deliver software at scale. Working with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Crossplane, and CI/CD tools, you'll help create reliable, secure, and highly automated engineering platforms used by teams around the world.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security and scalability
• Manage EKS cluster provisioning, lifecycle, and day-2 operations via Crossplane
• Maintain the GitOps operating model using Argo CD for continuous delivery
• Build and maintain CI pipelines using GitHub Actions for building, testing
• Manage observability infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana
• Build developer tooling, self-service capabilities, and automation that accelerate delivery
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployments and cloud operations

What We're Looking For

Candidate Will have:

• 5+ years overall experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure
• 3+ years AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD
• Strong AWS expertise including networking, IAM, and the EKS ecosystem
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Crossplane, or similar)
• CI pipelines with GitHub Actions including building, linting, testing
• GitOps workflows using Argo CD for continuous delivery
• Strong Linux, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and automation skills

Preferred:

•EKS

•Helm/ArgoCD/GitOps

•Prometheus/Grafana

•AWS or CKA/CKAD/CKS certification

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
