COR Senior Financial Analyst (Fresno Regional Operations)

WinnCompanies is looking for an agile and detail oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team in our Fresno Regional Office.

In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of monthly financial preparation and reporting of a portfolio of multi-family housing entities, preparation of annual budgets, strategic and risk analyses and other special projects as required by the management company and asset owners. The position may have oversight of a team of Financial Analysts and will be able to set priorities for themselves and their team independently of his/her supervisor.

Please note that the salary range for this position is $85,000 to $97,500 annually. Final salary will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. There is no relocation assistance for this position.

Responsibilities

Support financial and operational planning, budgeting, re-forecasting, data management, analysis and reporting, ensuring all internal and external financial reporting requirements and deadlines are met.

Identify and improve financial status of properties by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, monitoring variances, identifying trends, communicating important findings swiftly and recommending actions to management.

Monitor all Accounting functions: AR, AP, General Ledger review, Rent Roll management. Review, track and support replacement reserve activity.

Work closely with various departments in ensuring full data integrity and quality reporting. Provide support, analysis on key strategies and initiatives. Identify notable issues and orchestrate resolutions with team members.

Participate in executive level and client meetings, communicating key findings of analyses and recommendations.

Complete Ad/Hoc assignments as needed by the Vice Presidents or other senior leadership including new business development needs.

Able to set priorities and manage a team. May train, supervise and mentor Financial Analyst I/II. May initiate setting standard and consistent reporting practices and procedures to be followed by all Financial Analysts.

Train site and corporate level associates as needed on financial related topics.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting in real estate, facilities or property management

Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ supervisory experience leading a team of Financial Analysts

Advanced level skills in MS Office that includes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications

Lead operational initiatives to meet or exceed customer service standards and expectations in area(s) of responsibility and/or across multiple areas in a timely and respectful manner.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers. Must be comfortable with public speaking and facilitating presentations to management and leadership.

Act as a team leader for small projects or work groups, creating a collaborative and respectful team environment and improving workflows. Results may impact the operations of one or more departments.

Demonstrate broad and comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use in complex and/or unprecedented situations across multiple functional areas

Flexibility to adapt and respond to various work changes and use independent judgment and manage priorities.

A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years’ industry related financial experience

A solid understanding of Accounting, Public Accounting experience preferred

Experience in Real Page or similar property management systems
