WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

As a Data Engineering Specialist, you may be responsible for:

Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

Developing and optimizing data integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms

Building and managing cloud-based data platforms and data lakes

Ensuring data quality, governance, security, and performance standards are met

Supporting analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and business intelligence initiatives

Collaborating with architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions

Automating data workflows and monitoring processes for reliability and scalability

Contributing to data modernization and transformation initiatives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related fields

Strong experience with SQL and relational databases

Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating complex data sources

Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, and data orchestration capabilities

Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, medallion architecture, and modern data architecture patterns

Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience working in healthcare organizations, healthcare technology, health information systems, or digital health environments

Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, or EMR/EHR platforms

Experience supporting healthcare analytics, interoperability, population health, clinical reporting, or healthcare data modernization initiatives

Certifications in Azure, AWS, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud data technologies
