You thrive in an enterprise-focused advisory and business-development environment and are comfortable converting opportunities from MSCC, the dedicated Investment Service Line, Golden 1 appointment channels, digital appointment requests, outbound prospecting, employee referrals, statewide member demand, and walk-in traffic into meaningful member relationships while building a book of business from inception. You take ownership of the member experience, maintain strong compliance discipline, and ensure members are connected with the right advisor and service model to meet their needs.WHAT YOU'LL DO:

This is primarily an enterprise-focused advisory and business-development role supported by enterprise-generated opportunities, virtual member engagement, statewide member demand, assigned prospecting activity, market-development efforts, and limited branch-originated opportunities based on business needs, advisor capacity, and market maturity. The position operates as a new-market, book-building role and is not intended to rely on an inherited book of clients, a mature branch referral ecosystem, or an established local investment-services presence.

Member Service Contact Center (MSCC) Referrals: Receive investment-related calls and referrals routed by MSCC, assess member needs, provide direct service when appropriate, or coordinate the appropriate advisor appointment.

Investment Service Line Inbound Opportunities: Receive inbound member calls, identify investment needs, provide direct service when appropriate, and facilitate the appropriate next step.

Golden 1 Appointment Channels and Digital Appointments: Conduct scheduled phone and Zoom consultations initiated through Golden 1 appointment channels and digital appointment requests.

Branch Walk-In Traffic, Employee Referrals, and Branch-Generated Opportunities: Support walk-in consultations, employee referrals, locally generated advisor appointments, and other branch-originated opportunities while building awareness of Investment Services within the assigned branch.

Serve as a centralized advisor by conducting scheduled investment consultations with Golden 1 members throughout California through phone, Zoom, and approved virtual channels.

Receive and respond to inbound calls from the dedicated Investment Service Line.

Receive investment-related calls and referrals routed through the Member Service Contact Center (MSCC).

Manage inbound call queues and routed opportunities in a timely and organized manner, including monitoring assigned queues, prioritizing member needs, responding within established service expectations, documenting outcomes, and coordinating appropriate follow-up or advisor handoffs.

Conduct incoming appointments scheduled through Golden 1 appointment channels and digital appointment requests.

Meet with members to identify financial goals, needs, and priorities and develop appropriate financial plans and investment strategies. Recommend, implement, and monitor non-deposit investment and insurance products and services in accordance with broker-dealer, regulatory, and Credit Union requirements.

Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, provide ongoing relationship management, and support member follow-up through phone, Zoom, or in-person meetings as appropriate.

Proactively contact assigned prospect lists to identify member needs, develop new relationships, and create qualified investment opportunities.

Build a book of business from inception by developing new relationships through enterprise-generated opportunities, assigned prospecting activity, statewide member demand, local market development, community engagement, and approved business-development efforts.

Build awareness of Golden 1 Investment Services in the assigned branch’s market by developing local visibility, strengthening branch, community, and business-development relationships, and supporting approved outreach efforts.

Cultivate new member relationships in Southern California by identifying financial needs, introducing investment-services capabilities, and creating appropriate paths for ongoing advisory engagement.

Participate in approved financial education, member engagement, community outreach, prospecting, and business-development activities that support member awareness, relationship growth, market expansion, and the development of new advisory opportunities.

Help establish a sustainable Golden 1 investment-services presence in Southern California by developing referral sources, supporting local market relationships, cultivating community and business-development connections, and contributing to long-term business-development plans.

Develop relationship pipelines in a new market environment without an inherited client base, mature branch-based referral network, established investment-services presence, or existing production base.

Responsible for achieving activity, service, compliance, relationship growth, prospecting, market-development, community-engagement, and business-development expectations established by Investment Services leadership.

Coordinate warm handoffs when a member prefers an in-person appointment and another Golden 1 advisor is better positioned geographically to serve the member.

Respond to and service walk-in opportunities originating within the assigned branch and support branch employee referrals and branch-generated advisor appointments.

Maintain accurate member-client information, CRM notes, appointment outcomes, referral disposition, follow-up tasks, pipeline activity, and required records in a compliant and timely manner.

Complete required activity reports, business plans, business-plan reviews, compliance documentation, and other assigned reporting on time.

Maintain current knowledge of investment and insurance products offered through the broker-dealer and applicable state and federal requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering obligations.

Answer general questions regarding investment and Credit Union products and services and provide appropriate cross-referrals to other Golden 1 channels.

Collaborate with Investment Services, Investment Administration, MSCC, branch teams, Member Education, Compliance, the broker-dealer, and other internal partners to improve referral quality, appointment routing, and the member experience.

QUALIFICIATIONS AND PREFERENCES:

Bachelor’s Degree desired or equivalent experience in personal investments, financial planning, wealth management, or related financial-services fields required

3+ years years of experience in the sales and delivery of personal investment products and services required

Experience conducting phone-based and virtual financial consultations is required. Experience building new client/member relationships, managing inbound enterprise-generated opportunities, developing prospect pipelines, supporting business-development activity, and contributing to market development in a new or underdeveloped market is preferred. Prior experience in a bank, credit union, broker-dealer, wealth-management firm, or financial-services organization is preferred.
