Spring Arbor Senior Living of Winchester is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Room Turnover / Make-Ready- Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team!

This position is primarily focused on preparing resident rooms for new move-ins, including interior painting, carpet cleaning, minor repairs, and making sure each room is clean, refreshed, and move-in ready.

What You'll Be Doing

Your primary responsibility will be helping us turn resident apartments efficiently and ensuring every space is ready to welcome its next resident.

Apartment Turnovers & Move-In Preparation:

Interior Painting: Prep walls, patch nail holes, repair minor drywall damage, and paint resident rooms

Carpet Cleaning: Shampoo, spot-clean, and refresh carpets using carpet-cleaning equipment.

Rooms Make-Ready: Prepare vacant rooms for new residents, ensuring each space is clean, safe, and welcoming.

Minor Repairs: Handle small maintenance projects, including replacing fixtures, adjusting doors, repairing trim, and performing basic handyman tasks.

Touch-Ups & Finishing Work: Complete paint touch-ups, caulking, minor drywall repairs, and other finishing details.

Quality Checks: Walk through completed rooms to ensure they meet our move-in readiness standards.

Turnover Timelines: Work closely with the Maintenance Director to complete apartment turnovers in a timely manner.

Additional Maintenance Support:

Assist with basic maintenance requests and work orders as needed.

Help maintain the overall appearance of the community.

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Follow workplace safety procedures.

Support the Maintenance Director with additional projects when needed.

What We're Looking For

✅ At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, apartment turnovers, painting, or a related hands-on position.

✅ Experience with interior painting, drywall patching, and carpet cleaning is highly preferred.

✅ Ability to work independently and manage multiple apartment turnover projects.

✅ Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

✅ Dependable, organized, and able to complete projects within deadlines.

✅ Basic knowledge of general repairs and handyman tasks.

✅ Must be at least 18 years old.

✅ Must pass required background screening and comply with the company's Drug Free Workplace policy.

✅ Must pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check.

Previous experience in apartment maintenance, property management, hotel maintenance, housekeeping maintenance, or residential renovations is a plus!
