About the role

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Salesforce Technical Lead within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Account Payables line of business. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for our Salesforce platform and development team. This role combines hands-on development with solution architecture, technical mentoring, and delivery leadership. The ideal candidate is passionate about building enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, driving engineering excellence, and leveraging AI-enabled development practices to accelerate innovation while maintaining high quality standards.

The Salesforce Technical Lead / Solution Architect leads a Salesforce delivery pod responsible for designing and delivering business solutions across Corpay’s Salesforce platform. This role combines people leadership, solution design, delivery oversight, and close partnership with Product Owners, Technical Architects, Administrators, and Developers.

The Solution Architect translates business needs into clear, cohesive solution approaches; guides the pod through delivery; and ensures solutions are aligned with business outcomes, platform standards, security requirements, and long-term maintainability.

The ideal candidate is a strong Salesforce leader with solution-design experience and a preference for practical AI-assisted development practices that improve delivery speed, quality, documentation, and team effectiveness.

Solution Delivery

Ensuring proposed solutions are aligning with established Salesforce platform standards, security requirements, enterprise architecture guidance, and business priorities.

Working with Technical Architects and senior developers to review detailed technical designs, identify risks, and confirm implementation plans are supporting desired business outcomes.

Leading technical and functional decision-making for the pod, escalating cross-platform architecture decisions when appropriate.

Balancing delivery timelines, business value, team capacity, technical debt, and long-term solution sustainability.

Supporting estimation, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and production-readiness activities.

Ensuring the pod is delivering solutions meeting agreed functional, quality, security, and supportability expectations.

Hands-on Development
