About the role

Are you interested in shaping the future of entertainment? Prime Video is re-inventing how customers connect with their favorite shows, teams, and products by combining high-quality live streaming, immersive interactive features, and exclusive access to some of the world's most loved movies, TV series, and live sports. All from a single service available on the web, mobile, and TV in 240+ countries and territories around the world. And we're just getting started.

The Prime Video UX team is seeking a customer-obsessed Product Designer to join our Growth Design team. This role owns the design experiences that bring Prime Video to customers around the world and gives them access to a broad selection of channels through flexible subscription plans and payment options that best suit their needs. You will work at the intersection of customer experience, business insights and technical constraints, turning market-specific needs into flows that feel effortless to customers in each locale. The right candidate ships polished, implementation-ready work, moves quickly from requirements to finished experiences, and sees localization and compliance as a craft problem rather than a checklist.

You would be perfect for this role if:
- You have a portfolio of launched work demonstrating measurable impact of your design and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- You thrive on discovering big and small ways to make improvements to the customer experience.
- You have excellent in-person and remote communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and disciplines.
- You work well in multi-disciplinary environments where everyone has a seat at the table and equal responsibility for customer outcomes.
- You are energized by working within real-world constraints, including compliance requirements, and find creative ways to meet them without adding friction for customers.
- You have designed for customers across multiple markets and understand how locale, language, and regulation shape what the right experience looks like in each one.
- You think about the customer lifecycle end to end, and your designs include customer touchpoints like email and notifications that connect back to in-app flows.

Key job responsibilities
- Analyze customer problems and design delightful solutions with measurable impact.
- Work iteratively and collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team (product owners, developers, researchers), using lean and agile methodologies to explore, test, and implement designs.
- Quickly, yet thoroughly create sketches, flows, high fidelity mockups and prototypes as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
- Present and defend design recommendations to peers, partners and stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval.
- Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations.

About the team
You'll join a fun, growing team of UX practitioners who help each other develop and thrive. You will have a mentor and a manager that cares about you, your career, and your skills development and be expected to do the same for your team. You will have autonomy and ownership while contributing to the supportive culture on the team. We gather often to collaborate, ask questions, and grow together, so bring your unique skills and experience and be prepared to share, learn, and grow with us.
