Senior Solutions Architect, New APS Service

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to help us drive customer success for a game-changing new service that that operates at the intersection of advertising, data collaboration, and cloud services. In this role you will be a core member of an entrepreneurial team tackling some of the most exciting and complex opportunities in digital advertising. You will have a high level of comfort with ambiguity, a deeply analytical mindset with the ability to systematically solve challenges, and effectively influence across organizations.

Amazon Publisher Services (APS) helps digital publishers around the world build and grow thriving businesses. We provide services and advanced technologies to web, mobile app and OTT publishers of all sizes, including many of comScore’s global top 100, to help them monetize their content with demand from Amazon and other programmatic buyers. Our server-side header bidding and OpenRTB solutions are fast and reliable across devices, handling billions of queries per day, delivering ads in milliseconds. The result is more profitable advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers.

Key job responsibilities
• Own overall technical responsibility for publisher customer integrations including on-boarding, troubleshooting and scaling
• Act as a customer advocate, collaborating with product, engineering and business development to craft solutions that deliver clear value
• Drive excellence in execution and operations within APS, across partner teams within Amazon Advertising and across Amazon Divisions
• Analyze long-term vs. short-term opportunities and recommend the right trade-offs that will ultimately benefit our customers
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation to simplify and scale integrations

Basic qualifications

- 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- 5+ Years of hands-on experience in solutions architecture, software development or ad ops at top-tier programmatic bidders (SSPs or DSPs).
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of experience working with browser debugging tools such as Chrome Dev Tools, Charles Proxy or Wireshark.
- 5+ years of experience working with client-side web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising space, including header bidding
- Analytical and data-driven – familiarity with data analysis tools to process and analyze large data sets with AI or at least one database query language
- Familiarity with implementing and debugging OpenRTB protocol integrations.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
