About the role

Location: New York, NY (onsite, 5 days)

Pay: $120,000–$160,000 + equity

A fast-growing, venture-backed software and payments company is hiring its first product designer. You'll design across the product and the brand, and see your work in production the next morning.

What you'll do

  • Run customer discovery with small business owners

  • Design desktop and mobile flows: checkout, reporting, onboarding, online store

  • Design how people work alongside AI agents in the product

  • Prototype in Figma and with AI coding tools

  • Build the design guidelines and visual identity

What you bring

  • A very high craft bar and strong taste

  • Prototypes built with Figma and AI coding tools

  • Has designed and built your own ideas

  • Works directly with engineers on scope
