About the role

ERP / Business Analyst | Hamilton, OH | Direct Hire

Mural Group is partnering with a precision CNC machining company in Hamilton, Ohio to place an ERP / Business Analyst. This is a hybrid role for someone who lives at the intersection of manufacturing operations and data. You will own the ERP system, build reporting that actually gets used, and help a growing shop make better decisions with the data it already has.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert for the company’s job shop ERP system - configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization

  • Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports for production, quality, and leadership using ERP data and BI tools

  • Partner with operations, finance, and quality teams to identify reporting gaps and build solutions that drive better decisions on the floor

  • Support ERP-related training, process documentation, and onboarding for new users

  • Analyze production, inventory, scheduling, and cost data to surface trends and improvement opportunities

  • Own data integrity across the ERP environment

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment - hands-on configuration or administration, not just end-user data entry

  • Proficiency in SQL or equivalent querying tools for pulling and shaping operational data

  • Experience building dashboards or reports in Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI tools

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations: job orders, work centers, scheduling, inventory, and cost tracking

  • Familiarity with job shop ERP platforms is a strong advantage - Epicor, JobBOSS, Plex, Global Shop Solutions, ProShop, or similar

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and translate data findings into plain-language recommendations

Why This Move Makes Sense

  • At a company this size, your work is visible from day one. There is no layer of analysts above you filtering what gets presented to leadership.

  • The role has real scope. You are owning both the system and the analytics function, which is unusual for a single seat and builds a strong career story.

  • Hamilton, Ohio, direct hire, stable precision manufacturer with an aerospace and defense customer base.
