We are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager with strong inbound international tax and High-Net-Worth (HNW) experience. This individual will manage complex tax engagements, provide cross-border tax planning and advisory services, and serve as a trusted advisor to international individuals, families, and businesses with U.S. tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review complex tax engagements for HNW individuals and inbound international clients.

  • Advise foreign individuals, families, and businesses on U.S. tax compliance, planning, and cross-border matters.

  • Serve as a primary client contact and build strong, trusted relationships.

  • Research and resolve complex international, federal, and multi-state tax issues.

  • Identify proactive tax planning opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Review tax returns, workpapers, and international filings for accuracy and compliance.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to tax professionals.

  • Collaborate with partners on complex international tax matters and client opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA required.

  • 6+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.

  • Inbound international tax experience required.

  • HNW individual tax experience required.

  • Strong knowledge of cross-border U.S. tax compliance and planning.

  • Experience reviewing complex individual and international tax filings.

  • Strong client-facing, technical, and communication skills.

  • Spanish or Portuguese fluency strongly preferred.

  • New Jersey-based candidates preferred.

  • Partnership, pass-through, trust, estate, or family office experience is a plus.

  • Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
