Clerk Cashier

Prairie Sky Co-operative is hiring a Clerk Cashier on a Casual basis for the

Food Store in Milestone, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Store Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Provide exceptional customer service and operate the point-of-sale system.

• Maintain a neat, clean, fresh, and well-merchandised departments. Remove any damaged, empty or dated products.

• Process guest transactions & pack groceries

• Ensure the location is clean and orderly, with safety as a top priority.

• Follow company policies and procedures.

• Demonstrate behaviors that align with the company's values and focus on safety.

• Greet customers, respond to questions, and ensure price accuracy.

• Inspect all received good to ensure the quality and completeness of the order.

• Prioritize tasks and follow maintenance and housekeeping duties.

• Operate equipment safely and responsibly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service is an asset. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience in providing excellent customer service.

• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

• Capable of lifting up to 30kgs

• Serve it Right certificate will be required (must be 19 years of age to obtain)
